Marcus and Amber Yoars live to disciple the nations in the life-changing truths of God. Individually equipped with rich ministry backgrounds, they have led church staffs, worked full-time with Christian ministries and served secular organizations for more than 20 years—all with a desire to see people know Jesus and experience His love.
Marcus was most recently the editor of Charisma magazine and editorial director for Charisma Media. The son of church-planting missionaries, he was born and raised until college in Hong Kong, equipping him with a unique worldview and a heart for global missions. Aside from a successful career in media that includes ghostwriting for many New York Times best-selling authors, he has also been a worship leader for more than 20 years and is passionate about guiding people into radical, intimate experiences with God through everyday circumstances.
Amber’s heart and focus for almost two decades has been discipling and mentoring young women, and since 2009 she has had the joy of directing two ministries for young mothers. She has also worked periodically as a nutritionist for the last 12 years, guiding clients with severe health issues toward wellness by educating and equipping them for a healthier lifestyle.
Marcus and Amber have been married for more than 13 years and have two sons, Brayden and Xander. They most recently called Orlando, Fla., home but moved to Norway last year to begin their work as missionaries.
